젊은층의 많은 지지를 받던 밴드는 주위에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 알콜중독자나 마약중독자 등의 모습으로 기억되었고, 밴드를 스타로 만들려는 매니지먼트의 노력에도 불구하고 스스로가 이를 거부하며 77년 6월, 밴드를 해산하고 Slicks라는 새로운 이름으로 다시 태어났다.
